About the development

The development will consist of 92 homes, with a mix of two, three and four-bedroom houses, bungalows and apartments. All homes will be built to achieve EPC A efficiency standards, with solar PV panels, highly efficient electric heating and electric vehicle charging points. At the heart of the development is a substantial area of open public realm, for new and existing residents of Speke to enjoy.

Work commenced on the project in early 2025. We hope to finish building the first homes by the summer of 2026 with the project completing in spring 2027. The development is part of SLH’s wider plans to build 780 new homes across Speke and Garston by 2032.

The development will consist of:

  • 8 one-bedroom apartments
  • 27 purpose-built one and two-bedroom apartments for older people
  • 6 two-bedroom bungalows
  • 27 two-bedroom houses
  • 22 three-bedroom houses
  • 2 four-bedroom houses

The homes will be available for a range of tenure types:

  • Social rent - 27 homes
  • Affordable rent - 28 homes
  • Rent to Buy - 17 homes
  • Shared ownership - 20 homes
