The Tenant Voice Team is our new, more inclusive way for tenants to get involved and help shape the services we provide. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to share your experiences, influence decisions, and make a real difference in your community.
What is the Tenant Voice Team?
The Tenant Voice Team replaces our former Scrutiny Panel. It’s a group of tenants who work with us to review how we deliver services, suggest improvements, and hold us to account. Whether you join our core team or dip in and out of our flexible pool of team members, we’ve made it more flexible and welcoming, so you can take part in ways that suit you.
How does it work?
- Flexible membership: Join our pool of members and take part in reviews that interest you, based on your experiences and skills.
- Core team: Five core members provide continuity and leadership, and act as mentors for new members.
- Support and training: All members receive training and support, so you can build your skills and confidence.
- Recognition: We value your time and input. Members receive a £50 voucher for every meeting they attend.
- Progression: Being part of the Tenant Voice Team can open doors to other opportunities, such as joining our Customer Services Committee or even our Board.
How the team fits into our governance structure
The Tenant Voice Team, Customer Services Committee and Board are all connected. The Tenant Voice Team reports to the Customer Services Committee, which then reports to the SLH Board.
Who can join?
Anyone who is a South Liverpool Homes tenant can get involved. We want the Tenant Voice Team to reflect the diversity of our communities, so whatever your background or experience, your voice is welcome.
