Tell us what matters to you as we work with residents to improve green and open spaces.
Our green and open spaces play an important role in bringing people together, supporting your wellbeing and helping nature thrive.
That’s why we’ve launched our Green and Open Spaces Plan 2025–2030; our long‑term commitment to creating greener and healthier neighbourhoods across south Liverpool.
We’ll be popping up at a series of consultation events across Speke and Garston, and we’d love to hear your thoughts, and be part of the decisions that affect your everyday environment.
How can I get involved?
Come to a community meeting in your neighbourhood and tell us what you’d like to see.
At the events, we will be carrying out a short survey to find out what you think of the green and open spaces in your area, how you currently use the space and what you would like it to be used for.
Shand Street, four small patches of green space along King Street – 19 August 2026, 11am – 1pm
Heaton Close, small green space on the corner of the close – 22 July 2026, 11am - 1pm
Alwain Green/Critchley Road, the green spaces ae currently fenced off - 6 August, 11am - 1pm

Together, we can make a difference
Your involvement will help us create greener, safer, and more welcoming spaces for everyone. Whether you want to volunteer, learn something new, or just enjoy the outdoors, there’s a place for you in our plan.
