What is it?

The aim of the service is to help tenants make the most of their money, enabling them to pay rent, household bills and live comfortably. The service will help tenants:

  • Benefit checks - we’ll make sure tenants are accessing all the benefits they’re entitled to by carrying out a benefits check.
  • Expert advice - we’ll help tenants understand any changes to the benefits system so that they are clear about what they need to do.
  • Advocacy and support - if tenants face unfair sanctions or disagree with benefit decisions, we’ll help them to challenge and review outcomes.
