Creating lasting impact

Our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report explains how we are making sustainability, social impact and strong governance part of the way we provide homes and services in south Liverpool.

During 2025/26, we continued to improve the energy efficiency of our homes, invest in green spaces, support customers’ financial wellbeing and employment prospects, and create opportunities for residents to influence our decisions.

We achieved the SHIFT Gold Environmental Standard, invested £1.2 million in improving homes towards EPC C and built all our new homes completed during the year to EPC A. Our services, projects and partnerships also generated more than £6.6 million in social value.

Our ESG work is about more than targets. It is about creating homes that are more energy efficient, supporting people through difficult times, strengthening neighbourhoods and making sure customers have a meaningful voice in how SLH is run.
