Earlier this year, we asked customers and colleagues to help us shape our approach to anti-racism.
You shared your experiences, views, and ideas about what needs to change and what we can do to create fairer and more inclusive communities. Those conversations have directly helped shape our new Anti-Racism Strategy.
Now, we’d like to invite you to join us as we officially launch the strategy.
We're hosting a launch event at The Market Place on Tuesday 17 November, from 4.30pm to 6pm to share our new Anti-Racism Strategy with you.
Come along to:
- Hear more about the new strategy and how customers helped shape it
- Find out what happens next and how you can get involved
- Enjoy free food and refreshments
- Watch a performance from a local dance group
- Meet other people and be part of the conversation
Please email us at [email protected] to let us know you're coming.
Becoming an anti-racist organisation isn’t something we can achieve through a strategy alone. It’s an ongoing journey, and we want you to continue to be part of it.
The strategy focuses on listening, learning and taking meaningful action to challenge racism, remove barriers and make sure our services and communities are fair and inclusive for everyone.
Whether you’ve been involved in our anti-racism workshops already or this is the first time you’ve heard about the work, we’d love you to join us.
Discover our Anti-Racism Strategy below and read the actions we’ve committed to and how we’ll work together to create lasting change.
