Customers, families, volunteers and SLH colleagues came together outside our offices yesterday for our annual Family Christmas Event - an afternoon filled with festive spirit, community connection and plenty of smiles.
Despite the chilly weather, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming as visitors enjoyed a range of free activities designed to bring the community together at this special time of year.
One of the most popular attractions was our magical Christmas grotto, where children had the chance to meet Santa and share their Christmas wishes. Alongside the grotto, families tucked into freshly-cooked hot dogs, got creative with a variety of kids’ craft activities, and soaked up the festive atmosphere.
Adding to the seasonal cheer, we were delighted to be joined by the Speke Community Choir, who filled the event with live music and Christmas favourites that everyone enjoyed.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along, and to all the volunteers and colleagues who worked so hard behind the scenes, your energy and kindness helped make the day truly memorable.
