Opening times
Our lines and office close on Wednesday 24 December at 11.30am and re-open at 9am on Friday 2 January 2026.
Between these times all calls will be forwarded to our out of hours emergency service.
During these times our social media accounts, webchat and website forms will not be monitored but don’t worry – if an emergency repair crops up you can still call our out-of-hours service on 0330 303 3000.

While we're closed, our customer feedback inbox will not be monitored, therefore we will respond to your email when we reopen.
What is our out of hours service?
While we are closed our out of hours service is in operation for emergency repairs only on 0330 303 3000. Or alternatively email [email protected].
Emergency repairs are to remove immediate danger to people or avoid major damage to your home. In the event of a serious incident, we will respond as soon as we possibly can.
An emergency repair could be no power or water in your home, a leak coming through the ceiling or a blocked toilet if you only have one toilet.

Paying your rent
We know that Christmas can be an expensive time but it’s important that you keep your rent account up to date. If you’re struggling, please get in touch so we can help.
During our festive closure period you can still pay your rent in the following ways:
- mySLH
- Our automated payment line. Call 0330 303 3000 and press 2 to make a payment.
- At the post office or using one of the other payment methods you can find here.
Please note - any rent payments made between midday on Christmas Eve and Thursday 1 Jan will not show on your mySLH account until Friday 2 January.
