Have you struggled to find an NHS dentist?

Perhaps you’ve been left in pain, struggled to get the treatment you need, or had to pay for dental care because you couldn’t access an NHS dentist.

Together with Liverpool Citizens, we’re running a short survey, in-person and online, to gather your views and experiences of accessing NHS dental services in Speke and Garston.

Access the online survey here.

Or, come along to The Market Place Social on Wednesday 21 October, 12pm to 1pm to have your say, share your thoughts on local dentist provisions and complete the survey with our volunteer team.

What is Liverpool Citizens?

South Liverpool Homes (SLH) is a member of Liverpool Citizens; which brings people from across the city together to tackle local issues and find solutions that make a positive difference.

We have a task group, made up of SLH colleagues and local people; looking at issues affecting people in Speke and Garston. The current project is working to better understand NHS dental provision in Speke and Garston. We want to identify gaps in services and highlight any barriers people may face when accessing dental care.

As part of this work, we want to hear from people across our communities about their experiences of dental care. We’ll use this feedback to call for easier access to NHS dentists and better care when people need emergency dental treatment.

Join us at the next Accountability Assembly

Liverpool Citizens hold assemblies annually, with the next Assembly happening on Monday 16 November, 5.30pm - 7.30pm at Capstone Theatre, Liverpool Hope University Creative Campus, L6 1HP.

Your voice doesn’t stop with the survey.

Your feedback will be presented at the next Accountability Assembly, and we’d love you to join us and have your voice heard in the room.

We’ll provide free transport to and from the Assembly. If you would like to attend, please email [email protected] for more information and to attend the next Assembly.
