South Liverpool Homes (SLH) has appointed Clive Elliott as its new Chair, succeeding Paul Diggory, who steps down after eight years of dedicated service on the board.
Clive brings more than 50 years of professional experience, including over 25 years in senior executive leadership roles across financial services, governance and transformational change. His career includes senior positions with Barclays and Co-op Financial Services, before establishing himself as an independent management consultant specialising in organisational transformation.
A lifelong advocate for quality housing and strong communities, Clive joins SLH with significant board experience across the housing, health and education sectors. Until recently, he served as Chair of the Board and Pro-Chancellor at Edge Hill University. He is currently Senior Independent Director at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust and an independent member of the Funding and Treasury Committee at Jigsaw Homes.
Born in Liverpool and educated at Liverpool College, Clive has strong roots in the region and a passion for improving opportunities and outcomes for local people.

SLH’s Chief Executive Anna Bishop welcomed the appointment and thanked Paul Diggory for his longstanding contribution to the organisation. Anna said:
