We are deeply saddened to share the news that our former Chair, David Jepson, has passed away.
David gave eight years of dedicated service to South Liverpool Homes (SLH), joining the Board in 2016 as Vice Chair before becoming Chair in 2020, a role he held until 2024. He brought with him a lifetime of experience in housing, including a long and distinguished career at Riverside where he served as Deputy Chief Executive.
At SLH, David was a principled, knowledgeable and tireless champion for our organisation and our communities. He was deeply committed to ensuring tenants’ voices were listened to and acted upon, and to embedding equality, diversity and inclusion at the heart of everything we do. He was a passionate advocate for Speke and Garston, and always challenged us to keep improving, including leading the organisation back from G2 to G1.
David will be incredibly missed by everyone at SLH. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and loved ones at this very sad time.
