The contractor should have scheduled a start date with you.
Before work begins, you will need to clear your personal belongings away from work areas. This includes cupboards, floors, furniture, appliances, decorations, pictures, mirrors, clocks, and anything you don't want to get damaged. If you need help moving things or packing, please tell us before the work starts. If you want to change when work starts, let the contractor know at least one day before.
Yes, you need to be at home to let the contractor in. During the work, the contractor will tell you when they will be arriving from day to day. Some days, they may not need to enter your home, depending on the work.
