If you've received a letter from SLH about work that's due to take place in your home, read our FAQs below to find the answers to any questions you may have.

What will happen next?

After you get our letter, you don't need to do anything. Our contractor will call you to arrange a time to visit your home. This will happen within 12 weeks of receiving your letter.

During the visit, the contractor will look at what needs to be done and talk to you about when the work can start.

What will the work include?

What is included depends on what is getting replaced or upgraded in your home. Our contractor can tell you what’s included, or you can check this page to learn more.

Can I choose options like colours and designs?

When the contractor comes to your home, they will show you different designs and colours, if available. They might bring some samples to help you choose what you like best.

Can I choose not to have the work done?

We need to make sure your home is safe and taken care of. If you can't get the work done now, please tell us straight away. However, if you say no this time, we might not be able to offer the chance to do the work later.

Can I just have some of the work done?

We will only do all the work listed in the improvement plan for your home, not just some of it. This is to make sure your home is safe and well maintained.
