What you need to know

Pests such as mice, rats or birds can affect your health and safety and the quiet enjoyment of your home.

While management of pests is your responsibility as a tenant, if you are having problems with pests entering your home, please get in touch with us so we can visit your home and carry out a pre-inspection.

This is to assess the home to see if there are any issues that might be attracting pests (such as an overgrown garden or sources of food) and any areas where pests may be gaining access inside your home.

It is your responsibility to keep your home and outside areas clear to deter pests. If any remedial work is required to block holes and prevent pests entering we will arrange this.

We will also signpost you to Liverpool City Council’s pest control department who will work with you and us to deal with the problem.
