Setting up your own group

You can also take the first steps in setting up your own group. This could be:

  • A local community group: A formally constituted group that meets regularly to tackle local issues.
  • A tenants and residents association: A formally constituted group that meets regularly to improve or manage services delivered within a specific location.
  • A community project group: A group set up to deliver a specific community project or event and disbanded once delivered.
  • An activity group: A group that delivers activities to meet the needs of the local community, such as dog walking or art clubs.
