Sausage Pasta Bake

A hearty comfort meal to bring the family together

This freezable sausage pasta bake is an ideal make-ahead family dish for busy days.

Ingredients
  • 6 sausages, sliced into chunks
  • 300g pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 1 jar of tomato pasta sauce or homemade sauce
  • 1 cup grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Optional: sweetcorn, peas, or spinach
Method
  • Cook pasta according to packet instructions.
  • In a pan, heat olive oil and cook sausage chunks until browned.
  • Add pasta sauce and optional veggies; simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Mix cooked pasta with the sausage sauce and transfer to a baking dish.
  • Sprinkle cheese on top and bake at 180°C for 15–20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Tip: Great for leftovers and lunchboxes!
