Apprenticeships
We work with our community of training providers and local employers across the south Liverpool area to offer the best apprenticeship opportunities to young people and adults.
Completing an apprenticeship is an easy way to gain the skills and qualifications you need to climb the career ladder and improve your potential.
What is an apprenticeship?
All apprenticeships are real jobs, so all apprentices earn a salary. You will be paid at least the national minimum apprenticeship wage – and many employers pay significantly more.
Plus, you’re an employee with a contract of employment and you’re entitled to holiday leave.
There are various levels of apprenticeships that you can undertake, depending on your skills and qualifications.
How do I find out more information?
Applying for apprenticeship opportunities is very simple. For more information about advertised placements and how to apply, you can speak to us directly by calling 0151 285 5680 or send us an email at [email protected].

Come along to the Youth Hub
If you’re aged 16-24 and currently unemployed, the Youth Hub scheme can help you access the support you need to develop your skills, understand your career options and get the employment and training advice you need.
What does the Youth Hub offer?
We want to remove barriers and the stigma around finding work and we offer a wide range of in-person services. The Hub is a place to visit for career information, advice and guidance and to connect with local organisations who can provide support with CV’s, interview preparation, jobs and apprenticeships.
Who runs the Youth Hub?
It’s a unique partnership with Reach, Employability Solutions and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) designed to bring partners together, from across the Liverpool region, to help you access education, training and explore your employment prospects.
The Youth Hub takes place in two locations in South Liverpool – Reach in Parklands Library, Speke, open Monday to Friday, and Speke Training and Education Centre (STEC).
How can the Youth Hub help me?
We can help you find training opportunities, provide job search support and explore further education prospects. We do this by offering accredited training, personal guidance, support and access to a wider curriculum of enrichment activities.
