What to expect after you apply

Find out what happens after you complete your application, from annual review to getting the keys!

Annual application review

You will have an annual review throughout your application period. This is to make sure we have all the up-to-date information regarding your circumstances and to ensure you still want a home from us. Please ensure you keep your contact details up to date, as your application will be cancelled if you do not respond to your annual renewal.

Rent ready visit

Before being made an offer you will receive a visit from one of our neighbourhood management officers. The purpose of this visit is to carry out an affordability check to help you prepare for paying rent on your new home as well as talking to you about saving for your first month’s rent. The visit will also go over details of your application to make sure we have got accurate information about you and those moving in with you.

Viewing

Once you are ready to start a tenancy and when the right home comes up for you, you will be made an offer. We will then invite you to view so that you have the chance to ask us questions, look around your home and take any measurements that you need!

Tenancy ready appointment

Once you have accepted an offer, we’ll ask you to come and complete a tenancy ready appointment. This helps us to complete all the necessary paperwork we need to do to set your tenancy up. At this point one of our lettings executives will give you a potential moving in date.

Welcome to your new home

Once you have completed your tenancy-ready appointment and signed all the relevant paperwork. you will receive the keys to your new home!
