At SLH we believe than no-one should have to work on their birthday so we give you an extra day of paid leave allowing you to celebrate with family and friends. If your birthday is on a weekend you can take Friday or Monday and make it a long weekend!

Generous annual leave

Work for us and you'll start with 30 days of annual leave. You'll also get bank holidays and the Christmas period off too. Because when we say work-life balance, we mean it.

Our colleague wellbeing programme is simply called 'You' and is a range of events, activities and promotions throughout the year designed to keep you healthy, happy and balanced.

    We're a living wage employer

    SLH is an accredited Living Wage Employer, which recognises the commitment we make to promoting fair pay practices and ensuring a decent standard of living for all colleagues.

    By becoming an accredited Living Wage Employer, we are committed to paying all colleagues a wage that meets or exceeds the established national living wage threshold. This is currently £10.90 in the UK, outside of London.

    This commitment applies to not only colleagues directly employed by SLH, but also to our third party contractors.

    This living wage takes into account essential expenses such as housing, food and transportation, allowing colleagues to cover their basic needs without financial strain.
