Work for an Investors in People – Gold organisation
Read moreWe have achieved We Invest In People – Gold accreditation - a coveted standard which demonstrates that our colleagues feel valued and proud to work for us. Only 26% of organisations who hold Investors in People status achieve Gold, which puts us in the top tier nationally. It means that we have got all the right policies and practices in place to ensure that our colleagues can achieve their true potential, but more than that, it means everyone – from the CEO to apprentice takes ownership for making the policies come to life. -
We're a living wage employer
SLH is an accredited Living Wage Employer, which recognises the commitment we make to promoting fair pay practices and ensuring a decent standard of living for all colleagues.
By becoming an accredited Living Wage Employer, we are committed to paying all colleagues a wage that meets or exceeds the established national living wage threshold. This is currently £10.90 in the UK, outside of London.
This commitment applies to not only colleagues directly employed by SLH, but also to our third party contractors.
This living wage takes into account essential expenses such as housing, food and transportation, allowing colleagues to cover their basic needs without financial strain.
