Pathway to your new home
This page details the different stages that take place before you move into your home.
It is important that you keep us up to date with any changes to your contact details or circumstances so that we can contact you with an offer.
1. Annual application review
You will have an annual review throughout your application period. This is to make sure we have all the up-to-date information regarding your circumstances and to ensure you still want a home from us. Please ensure you keep your contact details up to date, as your application will be cancelled if you do not respond to your annual renewal.
2. Rent ready visit
Before being made an offer you will receive a visit from one of our neighbourhood management officers. The purpose of this visit is to carry out an affordability check to help you prepare for paying rent on your new home as well as talking to you about saving for your first month’s rent. The visit will also go over details of your application to make sure we have got accurate information about you and those moving in with you.
3. Viewing
Once you are ready to start a tenancy and when the right home comes up for you, you will be made an offer. We will then invite you to view so that you have the chance to ask us questions, look around your home and take any measurements that you need!
4. Tenancy ready appointment
Once you have accepted an offer, we’ll ask you to come and complete a tenancy ready appointment. This helps us to complete all the necessary paperwork we need to do to set your tenancy up. At this point one of our lettings executives will give you a potential moving in date.
5. Welcome to your new home
Once you have completed your tenancy-ready appointment and signed all the relevant paperwork. you will receive the keys to your new home!
