Homes for rent
Social housing is an affordable and secure way of renting a home, that is prioritised by people’s needs and circumstances.
Market rent, affordable rent and social rent
We are registered social landlord that offers homes for both social and affordable rent. Social rent is usually about 50% of market rent and is usually only available through registered social landlords. Affordable rent is usually around 80% of market rent. Both social and affordable rents are regulated by the Regulator of Social Housing. Market rent is the average rent of a home of a particular type in a particular area.
Example:
If market rent for a three-bedroom home was £1,000 per month, affordable rent would be around £800 per month and social rent would be around £500.
