Build your community for Mental Health Awareness Week

Mental Health Awareness Week is around the corner, and we’re gearing up to host a series of inclusive events and workshops from Monday 12 – Friday 16 May.Â
This year's theme focuses on the Importance of community.Â
Throughout the week, we’ll be delivering a variety of activities and workshops for you, designed to boost community spirit and promote mental health. Â
From taking part in volunteer gardening sessions, to a mental health workshop and mindful meditation session, the week will create a supportive environment for open discussions and shared experiences.Â
Check out our timetable of events below:Â Â
Monday 12 May Â
- Mind Connect 10.30am - 11.15am at Grow Speke. Tap into the importance of taking care of your mental health Â
- Meditation and sound bath from 11:30am to 12:30pm at Grow SpekeÂ
Tuesday 13 MayÂ
- Knit and Natter is on from10am – 1pm at The Market Place Social.Â
- Gardening for wellbeing will run from 10.30am - 3pm at Grow SpekeÂ
Wednesday 14 MayÂ
- Mosaic art workshop, 10am – 12pm at The Market Place SocialÂ
- Baby yoga, 1pm – 2.30pm at The Market Place Social Â
Thursday 15 MayÂ
- Wellbeing Walk from Garston Children’s Centre, 11am – 12.30pm. Short, accessible community walk for all, followed by tea and cakes. Â
Friday 16 May Â
- Coffee and Chat is on at The Market Place Social, 10.30am - 12.30pm. We’ll be joined by The NHS Walton Centre, chatting about access to health services. Â
