A year in the life of Tenant Scrutiny Panel

Published: 30 January 2025
Tenant Scrutiny Panel is an integral part of our governance structure, providing a way for tenants to have their voices heard, get under the skin of SLH and potentially start their journey to board membership. Find out what Scrutiny Panel has achieved in 2024.
It’s been a big year for the panel, which is now at full capacity with a waiting list of potential members waiting in the wings.
Big ticket items for the panel in 2024 were three service review ‘deep dives’ into anti-social behaviour, our complaints process and our planned maintenance programme. The results of the first two reviews are on our website, and we’ll publish the panel’s planned maintenance findings in the new year.
To better understand how housing associations tick, we’ve delivered a comprehensive training programme covering many aspects of our service delivery, from governance and finance to our assets and development functions.
