We will not tolerate hate crime in our communities
Published: 7 August 2024
We understand that many people will be feeling anxious and uneasy due to the recent events across the country.
Hate crime is a criminal offence and we will not tolerate it in our communities. If you experience or witness any hate crime or incident, please report it to the police by calling 999 in an emergency or 101 in a non-emergency situation.
Alternatively you can report it to us online or give us a call. We can support you in making a report to the police or an anonymous report - it is completely your choice.
We will continue to work with local partners and Merseyside Police to support you and ensure you feel safe where you live, taking legal action where necessary.
We are here to support you
If you have been affected by recent events, we have teams on hand that you can chat to and offer support. Please reach out, we are here to help.
