Help us create our 25th anniversary pebble hunt

Published: Tuesday 4 JuneÂ
In October we’re marking 25 years of SLH in South Liverpool, and we want to bring the community along with us every step of the way.Â
Among our anniversary plans is a community pebble hunt in Speke and Garston during the summer holidays. We hope it will give families a fun, free holiday activity, exploring their communities and finding 50 specially decorated pebbles, that will commemorate our 25th birthday and celebrate our amazing places.Â
Â
But we need your help to decorate our pebbles. We know we’ve got some amazing crafters out there, judging by previous creative courses we’ve held, so we’re kicking the project off with a crafting session at Garston Children’s Centre, Banks Road, Garston on 12 June.Â
There will be four sessions held across Garston and Speke, over the next month -Â Â
Wednesday 12 June, 10am – 12pm @ Garston Children’s Centre, Banks Road, Garston Â
Wednesday 19 June, 10am – 12pm @ Garston Children’s Centre, Banks Road, GarstonÂ
Wednesday 26 June, 10am – 12pm @ The Market Place Social, Parklands, SpekeÂ
Wednesday 3 July, 10am – 12pm @ The Market Place Social, Parklands, SpekeÂ
Â
The sessions are completely free, open to adults and you're welcome to bring your little ones along. All equipment will be provided. You don’t need to be a pebble painting pro either. Just bring along your ideas about home, community and birthday vibes!Â
To get involved, please register to take part by emailing getinvolved@southliverpoolhomes.co.uk. Â
Stay tuned for more information about our 25th birthday plans! Â
