Warm hubs now open across Speke and Garston

Published: 24 November 2022

Warm hubs are a safe, warm place that provide a friendly, inclusive environment, hot drinks and a biscuit or two. Following the rise in energy prices and the return of the colder weather, there are warm spaces across Speke and Garston that you can visit.

Providing light refreshments, we’ve worked with our partners to point you in the direction of your nearest warm hub.

Introducing The Market Place Social

We’ve opened The Market Place Social; a cosy place for you to visit twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays. Accessible via our community shop, The Market Place, you don’t need to book to visit our warm hub; pop in after you’ve visited The Market Place or ask our friendly volunteers to point you in the right direction.

We host craft workshops at The Market Place Social on Tuesdays and our weekly coffee morning group, visit the space on Friday mornings. Everyone is welcome to take part, but there’s no pressure. If that isn’t your thing, enjoy a hot drink, log on to our Wi-Fi on your phone or read a book.

If you would like to take part in the Tuesday morning activities, we ask you to confirm your place by email at getinvolved@southliverpoolhomes.co.uk.
