New ‘drop-in’ at The Market Place

As you will know, our main reception has been closed since March 2020, a decision we made at the time to protect the health and wellbeing of our customers and colleagues. And, like many other organisations, ourselves and our customers have found new ways of communicating with each other through a range of digital channels.  

But we know that sometimes nothing beats a face-to-face conversation. 

As a housing association based in the heart of the community, we understand that it may be handy for you to just pop into our office to speak to us, especially if you have a quick query or need to pass some documents to us.  

So, from Monday 6 June, we are piloting a drop-in service at The Market Place (next door to our main office at Parklands, Speke) on the following days: 

Wednesday: 10am-12noon 

Thursday: 2-4pm 

An SLH colleague will be on hand to deal with any queries you may have or book an appointment for a future date with the best person who can deal with your query.  

The Market Place will be open to all our tenants at these times so we felt this would be the ideal place for us to operate this drop-in service. Just speak to a volunteer and they will direct you to a private space where you can speak to us. 

This is in addition to the number of other ways you can get in touch with us such as by phone, mySLH, live chat, social media or email.  

You can also book a face-to-face appointment when you get in touch with us if you don’t feel that your query can be resolved through these channels. Appointments can take place in your home, at our office at Parklands or virtually through a video link. 

We will review the demand for this service over the next couple of months.
