Step into Nature for Mental Health Awareness Week

Published: 4 May 2021

Next week it’s Mental Health Awareness Week and this year, the theme is Connect with Nature. Bringing the outdoors into our everyday lives benefits our physical and mental wellbeing, so why not join us for ‘Step into Nature’ - a week of free community events taking place from 10-14 May.

Spending time outdoors, whether that be gardening, relaxing or enjoying some of your favourite hobbies can be hugely beneficial for your mental health.

We’re hosting a week of activities, all taking place outdoors at our community garden, Grow Speke, alongside our training and support providers, Transform Lives Company (TLC) and Blackburne House.
