Speke Up 2021: The finalists

Published: 22 February 2021

The applications are in and the finalists have been selected for Speke Up, where local Speke community groups bid for up to £1,000 each from a £15,000 pot of Home Office funding!

This is the third round of Speke Up, following successful events in April and December 2019, which saw groups come together for a live voting event to decide the winners.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this time we’ve done things virtually. Applications went live in December 2020 and closed on 22 January. Each group was asked to detail their project, how much they were bidding for and how their project would contribute to a reduction in serious and organized crime in Speke. And now we’re pleased to confirm the groups that are going through to the final!
