Update on your repairs service

Published: 24 June 2020

As Government restrictions continue to relax we are continuing to adapt our services.

Since the start of lockdown we have continued to deliver an emergency-only repairs service which includes essential compliance works such as gas safety checks and from 1 June we started external work such as painting and roofing.

We know that repairs are important to you and we have seen an increasing amount of queries asking when our full repairs service will resume. As always the safety of our tenants, colleagues and operatives is our top priority and we are currently implementing a number of measures to ensure that we carry out this service in the safest possible way. This is because some of the repair works may require us to be in your home for a longer length of time or may need several operatives from different trades in your home to complete the work.

As part of our preparations to resume a full repairs service, we will get in touch with you if you have reported a non-urgent repair before lockdown to assess the work and carry out any necessary inspections. Once these have been completed and we are confident that we have a robust approach to repairs during these times, we will recommence a full service. We’d like to thank all our tenants for their patience and understanding during this difficult time and we are looking forward to working in your homes again very soon.

In the meantime, please continue to report emergency repairs to us and follow the guidance we issued last week about gas safety and other compliance works
