#KindnessMatters: Get involved with Mental Health Awareness Week
Published: 6 May 2020
It’s Mental Health Awareness Week from 18-24 May and in these uncertain times the challenges on our mental health are greater than ever.
But what we’ve seen are random acts of kindness on a national and local level, from clapping for the NHS every Thursday to checking in on vulnerable neighbours in South Liverpool.
And that’s the focus of this year’s awareness week from the Mental Health Foundation charity. Kindness.
Throughout the week over on our Facebook we will be sharing ideas on how you can spread kindness in your home, your community and for yourself (it’s important to be kind to yourself too!)
We will also be encouraging you to share random acts of kindness that you’ve received and recognise the caring communities that we live in.
Find out more about the awareness week at the Mental Health Foundation website, along with details of how you can help if you’re struggling with your mental health in these times.
