Help us deal with the damage caused by Storm Ciara
Published: 10 February 2020
Due to the high winds and heavy rain brought by Storm Ciara over the weekend, our out-of-hours emergency service has received an unusually high number of calls.
We appreciate your patience when calling and thank you for keeping non-urgent calls to a minimum. This will help us deal with those tenants most in need.
Our repairs service visited a number of homes over the weekend to put in place emergency repairs. We will follow up with an appointment today where we need to carry out further repair work to your home.
The weather forecast remains unsettled for the next few days which may affect how quickly our teams can get through the backlog of outstanding emergency repairs.
As you can appreciate, the storm damage has been widespread and we appreciate your patience while we deal with these issues.
What you can do to help
- Please keep any repair-related calls to emergencies only.
- If you can please secure any loose items in your gardens to prevent them blowing away and potentially causing damage or injury.
We want you to stay safe while we deal with any emergency repairs, so please don’t try to tackle any repairs that might put you or your family at risk.
