Anna Bishop
Chief Executive Officer
Anna joined SLH in November 2022 and has over 25 years in the housing sector. Anna was previously Chief Operating Officer at One Manchester, a housing association with 12,000 homes across South and East Manchester, where she was responsible for housing management, repairs, and asset management.
Previous to this Anna worked at The Riverside Group where she held a number of senior positions including Director of Customer Services, Interim Director of South Region, as well as leading on neighbourhood regeneration in Liverpool. Prior to this she was Operational Lead for specialist housing association, Pine Court, housing multi-racial communities.
Anna is passionate about reducing inequalities in communities and is looking forward to working with customers, colleagues and Board to ensure the organisation continues to deliver on this in light of the economic and environmental challenges we are facing.
The Regulator of Social Housing has implemented a new set of consumer standards that are in force from the 1 April 2024. Anna has overall responsibility for ensuring compliance with the standards. Members of the executive leadership team will support Anna, in ensuring compliance.
Cathy Biggs
Executive Director of Operations
Cathy joined SLH in February 2022 and has over 18 years’ experience in the social housing sector, working previously at Plus Dane Housing and Your Housing Group. Her operational experience is vast; managing community safety, income, lettings and environmental teams to ensure neighbourhoods are managed effectively and customers are at the heart of everything they do.
Cathy has always worked in customer-centred roles and is passionate about delivering excellent services to the South Liverpool community.
Mark Chambers
Executive Director of Finance
Mark joined SLH in June 2021 after spending 16 years working in local government starting as a trainee accountant and progressing to senior finance, performance and commissioning roles.
Mark is responsible for ensuring the financial viability and integrity of the Group through the effective financial control and provision of financial and treasury services to provide the foundation for the achievement of the organisation’s strategic priorities.Â
Mark is also the company secretary and has responsibility for governance, performance and risk.
Colin Gibson
Executive Director of Culture and Communications
Colin joined SLH in 2013 and has extensive experience of running a strategic and operational human resources function within housing and the NHS.
Colin is responsible for ensuring that SLH’s HR strategy, policies and procedures are aligned with our corporate vision, aims and business objectives, as well as overseeing our ICT and marketing and communications functions.
Colin specialises in HR changes which improve business performance and employee engagement and is experienced in culture change management.
Angela Perry
Executive Director of Assets & Development
Angela began her housing career in 1990 and since then she has carried out a variety of roles across Cheshire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Yorkshire, where she was Assistant Chief Executive at Incommunities Housing Group in Bradford.
Angela has extensive strategic experience and a strong track record in asset management, repairs and maintenance and customer services, as well as a strong desire to make a difference to the communities and neighbourhoods where she works.Â
