SLH is an accredited Living Wage Employer, which recognises the commitment we make to promoting fair pay practices and ensuring a decent standard of living for all colleagues.
By becoming an accredited Living Wage Employer, we are committed to paying all colleagues a wage that meets or exceeds the established national living wage threshold.
Sustainable Reporting Standard
The Sustainable Reporting Standard refers to a set of guidelines and principles that organisations follow to report on their sustainability performance and impacts. It helps companies disclose relevant information about their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices, enabling stakeholders to assess their sustainability efforts.
Disability Confident Employer
A disability confident employer is an organisation that has made a commitment to actively recruit, retain, and support individuals with disabilities in the workplace. These employers aim to create an inclusive and accessible work environment that values the skills and contributions of disabled employees. In 2024, we were awarded Disability Confident Leader status of the Disability Confident scheme.
Modern Slavery
Modern slavery is an issue that affects millions of people worldwide, including within the housing sector. Our modern slavery statement sets out our commitment to combatting modern slavery, not only by ensuring ethical practices within our operations and supply chains, but by raising awareness of the signs of modern slavery amongst our colleagues and in the communities that we serve.

Fair Employment Charter
The Liverpool City Region Fair Employment Charter is a commitment made by businesses and organisations in the Liverpool City Region to promote fair employment practices. It aims to ensure that workers are treated fairly and have access to good quality jobs, fair pay, and decent working conditions.
