Reach - connecting you with work

Based at Speke Library, Parklands, Reach is an employability hub that links local employers and training providers with South Liverpool residents who are seeking support to find work and training opportunities.

Using a joint approach, employers and providers will work together to ensure the local community have the right skills and qualifications to enable them to gain sustainable employment.

  • 1-2-1 sessions to help you with your CV, covering letters and application forms
  • Access to volunteer opportunities to help you expand your skills for future employment
  • Access to IT facilities to help you with your job search
  • A local employment support service all under one roof
  • Support for school leavers to gain the skills that local employers are looking for, including work experience and work related qualifications

Addaction’s ETE programme aims to inspire and engage people at all stages of their recovery by offering realistic and achievable ways to improve well-being. 

Catch 22
Catch22 deliver their Connect With Work programme from Reach, which is completely free and is for anyone who lives in Liverpool, aged 16+ with one or more barrier into work.

Employability Solutions
Employability Solutions are a social enterprise providing a full time alternative education provision for young people aged 14-29.

Households into Work
Households into Work programme is designed to support clients and any members of their family who are aged 16 or over to address barriers including, issues with Health & Wellbeing, Debt, Addiction and Homelessness and move into employment and training.

Include IT Mersey
Include IT Mersey offer Digital surgeries/IT drop-ins in Reach on Thursday, to help anyone ages 30+ who need support in basic IT needs.

Innovative Alliance
Innovative Alliance was created to support people in their desire to develop their skills and become economically active.

Liverpool in Work
Liverpool in Work staff work right across the city. Based in local communities, job centres, libraries etc, they can help with information, advice and guidance to help you find appropriate work or training.

National Careers Service 
Need a helping hand getting into work? Our partners at the National Careers Service are offering free careers advice to help you break down the barriers to employment.

STEC (Speke Training and Education Centre) 
Speke Training & Education Centre (STEC) is a Community Learning Charity established over thirty years ago to support people from Speke & Garston and South Liverpool communities.

The Growth Company
Positive Directions can offer you 1-2-1 support and a personalised support package to help you to achieve your potential and secure sustained employment.

The Women's Organisation
The Women’s Organisation is the largest developer and deliverer of training and support targeting women in the UK.

Transform Lives Company
Transform Lives Company work across the UK to raise employment levels and to transform the lives of those furthest from the labour market.

Please note that on the first Wednesday of each month, Reach will close at 1pm for Walkabout Wednesday.
